Guzzidiag has been used thousands of times to write mappings to 5am ecu's.
It has a repair mode if it fails, what can happen if you forget that the laptop needs power or shuts down during writing. Or like someone who tried to write a map with battery at 7 volt.
When communication is good, the bike and laptop are stable nothing goes wrong. Since a year the Aprilia rsv4 and Tuono v4 can be mapped too, that also has been proven stable.
First make a backup of you map, not that I don't have it, but because you test that way if the laptop is good to communicate with the bike.
I still read here fear to touch mapping, and zero knowledge about what happens inside the ecu. Educate yourself, it's good to know what happens inside.
